Side Kick Pleat Valance
The Kick Pleat valance offers a tailored look with straight lines and side pleats on each end. Valances can be made up to 100" in width which includes the side returns. Sizes over 50" will also have a center pleat. The pleats can be made in the same fabric as the valance or in a contrasting fabric for added interest.
Kick Pleat Valance
- Available in widths to 100".
- Valance has 4" returns and should be included in the size you order (this part of the valance that will cover the side brackets of your rod).
- 3" rod pocket.
- 18" finished length
- Lined in drapery lining.
- Choice of main fabric for valance and contrasting fabric for pleats (or can be made in all same fabric).
- Valances over 50" with have an additional pleat in the middle - see images below.
- Fits on a 2.5" flat continental rod with 4" side brackets/returns.
- We DO NOT recommend having this valance fabricated in striped or plaid fabrics!
Special feature:
This valance can be made in 1 inch increments so that you get the exact fit you need. Example: if your rod width is 42" you would need a 50" sized valance (42" rod width in front + 4" return + 4" return). If you have any questions about this, please email or call us to ensure you order the correct size. Example: a 60" valance will fit a rod that measures 52" on the front (not including the two 4" returns, a 90" valance will fit a rod with a front width of 82", not including the two 4" returns. YOU MUST order the size INCLUDING your returns, which need to be 4" each side.
