Optional Upgraded Linings:
1. Blackout lining is used in place of standard lining to filter light out of a room. Blackout lining also provides some insulation and UV protection for your drapes.
2. Thermal lining can be used in place standard lining for those who want a lining that provides insulation as well. Thermal lining also provides some UV protection for your drapes.
3. Interlining is a flannel like fabric that is sewn between the main drapery fabric and the lining. Interlining not only helps to protect your drapes from direct sunlight, it also helps insulate as well as giving drapes fuller body and volume. We strongly recommend using interlining on silk fabrics.
Cartridge Pleated Drapes
Cartridge Pleated Drapes offer a stylish clean upscale look and are a great alternative to standard pinch pleated drapes. Cartridge pleated drapes will work well in most settings, but do offer a more modern appeal. Due to the nature of the style of pleats these panels will not stack back from a window very tightly, therefore we recommend cartridge drapes to be used as stationary panels hung straight or pulled back with tiebacks.
